Greatest FUO students!!!
I remain my humble self Comr. Oside Destiny AKA future. A 300l student of petroleum and Gas Engineering. I’m sure most of you are aware that Faculty of Engineering has 2 SUG Vice-President aspirants both from the department of Petroleum Gas Engineering.
A primary election was conducted at departmental level (ACAPES). This election was done free and fair with credible procedures using an open ballot system. I had 67 votes, my opponent had 27 votes and there was just 11 invalid votes, making me the winner to represent at SUG.
AS A LEADER, YOUR PERSONAL AMBITION SHOULD NOT OVERSEE D COLLECTIVE DECISION OF THE PEOPLE. Until now, my opponent refused to step down, spreading rumors and making statements that are neither true nor tangible just to tarnish my image.
“As a Leader which I know I am” today being 15th of May 2019, for the Love and Respect I have for my department and faculty, I am using dis medium to tell my supporters out there that I’m sorry I had to make this decision but I just have to (please understand).
Although being the winner of the Primary election and with my opponent not stepping down, I Comr. Oside Destiny, am officially stepping down so that my department and faculty can stand together in Unity.
Long live Nigeria
Long live Bayelsa state
Long live FUO.
