Official press release from the SUG President
This is to inform the entire students that the Student Union Government under the leadership of Comr. Millow Richard Amalaobebh has already done a lot to see how students will be given enough time to pay up their fees and as such had gone to the extent of making sure that every student of the University is allowed to participate in the first semester examination of 2017/2018 session even without paying their school fee.
It is on this note that a congress was called and an agreement was reached by the entire congress that on 23rd April, 2018, all students (including those who have paid their fees) should converge in front of the SUG secretariat, West Campus by 7am to find out if the students who have not paid their fees will be stopped from writing the exams.
If it happened so, the student community will be forced to deliberate right in front of the secretariat on the best action to take in regards to the situation at hand.
Students are hereby strongly adviced to appear at the SUG secretariat massively on Monday by 7am because until we have an attendance of one thousand students (1,000), no action will be taken by the union.
In the spirit of aluta, injury to one is injury to all.
