Hon Comr. Samuel Ekpowei Ekpokeme was today sworn in as the new chief judge of the judiciary arm of the student union government, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State following his appointment by the new SUG President Comr. Debekeme .
The swearing in ceremony was graced by the presence of the Dean of Student affairs, Dr. Umuro (who is also the FUOTUOKE ASUU chairman), the head of legal of FUOtuoke, the members of the SUG executives and other stakeholders of the Union.
The new chief judge who is an Esq. from his first degree and a 300l student of History and International Relations Studied in FUO while giving his acceptance speech thanked the president for giving him the opportunity to serve and assured that his administration as the chief judge will set a standard and record that will be hard for his successors to break.
The president also appointed Comr. Clement Clever from the department of mathematics and statistics, 200 level as the new chief of staff to the SUG president. Letters of appointment and certificate of office were also issued to the appointees.
Furthermore, the new Chief judge, Hon. Justice Samuel Ekpowei Ekpokeme has been tasked to swear in other justices across the faculties and also the newly elected Parliamentarians once the president declares their house open and the conduct the election of the 3rd Assembly principal officers.
