Lately, the above phrase has being trending across the school community and has created two different school of thoughts. While some believe that “school na scam”Having the evidence to prove their point, others see this as a childish talk because they see school as the real deal.
Just before we delve into this amazing journey, I will like to ask you a very simple and funny question, which I am certain you will fail. I bet 95% of those reading this piece will fail. Here is the question:
How many sides does a coin have?
If you went through secondary school, it is obvious you were taught mathematics and if you were taught mathematics. You were taught a particular topic called PROBABILITY.
An aspect of probability deals with the issue of a COIN and we were taught a coin has two sides: the Head and the Tail.
I guess that was your answer to the question. Mathematically, the coin has two sides but the truth is that you just failed the question because a coin has THREE SIDES: the head, the tail and the EDGE REGION, one which is always ignored despite its vital role in amalgamating the two important parts.
This ignored region has a key to change our perception to life. Have you noticed there is a probability of the coin landing or standing on the edge? If you doubt what I just said, look for a coin and try making it stand on the edge, you will be amazed that it will stand. Therefore, your understanding of the EDGE REGION places you at an advantage position where you will be able to interact with the head and tail at the same time.
May I shock you that the two sides of this coin in view is correct: SCHOOL NA SCAM VS SCHOOL NO BE SCAM. The diversity in the answer of individuals is based on their perception to school and life. Their perception is a function of their positioning and lighting.
This is a long piece that I cannot finish up here because of space and time. I wish to lead you on a journey as a student that will forever change your worldview towards school and life.
In this journey, I will share the following with you:
1. MY SCHOOLING STORY… My withdrawal from UNIBEN.
2. BREAKING POINT AND PURPOSE DISCOVERY.
3. ADMISSION INTO FUPRE AND MY NEW VISION.
4. WITHDRAWAL AGAIN?
5. A BREAK INTO INFLUENCE.
6. SCHOOL NA SCAM.
7. SCHOOL NO BE SCAM.
8. UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES.
9. LEVERAGING ON SCHOOL AND AFRICAN ENVIRONMENT
10. UNITING BOTH SIDES ON THE COIN.
